Mold-Making uses a Wide Variety of Mold Steels to Build the Right Mold for Your Production Needs in Accordance With the Following SPI Classifications:


  • Class 101 Molds for extremely high production volume, guaranteed for Mold cycles of one million or more.

  • Class 102 Molds for medium to high production volume, with cycles not exceeding one million.

  • Class 103 Molds for medium production volume, with cycles not exceeding 500,000.

  • Class 104 Molds for low production, with cycles not exceeding 100,000.

  • Class 105 Molds for Prototyping only, with cycles not exceeding 500.

For an added level of assurance, a program manager assigned specifically to your project oversees every detail of your product's progression, and is available to work with you and address any questions or issues that may arise.
